Terms of Use

Last updated ·

These terms govern the soulcrow.com website and, once released, the Soul Crow app. By using either, you agree to them. Read them with the same care you would give a mission.

Who we are

The website and the app are provided by Adrian Christiansen, Tallinn, Estonia. You can write to contact@soulcrow.com.

What Soul Crow is

Soul Crow is an educational and contemplative game. It presents breathing exercises, attention practices, traditional teachings and symbolic imagery as inner training and as the heritage of certain traditions.

It is not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. No result is promised. What practitioners report is reported as such.

Your responsibility

You practise at your own responsibility, in a safe place, and you stop at the first discomfort. In particular:

  • Breath: never hold the breath to the point of distress; never practise in or near water, or while driving; skip retentions if you are pregnant or have a heart, blood-pressure, respiratory or epilepsy condition.
  • Light: never look at the sun, a laser or any dazzling source. Use a candle, a dim lamp at a distance, or the glyph on the screen, and blink freely.
  • Mirror gazing and deep inner work: skip them when you are fragile or exhausted, and stop if they become unpleasant. They are inner training, not a substitute for professional support.
  • Muscle contractions: firm, never painful, a few seconds only.
  • Partner practices: mutual, consensual and reversible, with a stop word, between adults who both agree.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are in doubt, ask a qualified professional before practising.
